Why you should choose me
I’ve been photographing newborn babies for over five years and over that time have perfected my craft. As well as having a passion for photography, I absolutely love babies. I have a natural maternal personality and and you can be sure that your newborn baby is safe with me. As well having experience with babies through photography, I also worked at a nursery for a few years and so know all the tricks to comfort them.
You spend around 41 weeks waiting for your baby to arrive, and just like that you're holding a tiny little person in your
arms and are wondering how you ever lived without them. The weeks will fly by and before you know it, your
baby will have grown out of that precious 'newborn stage' with their teeny tiny toes, and wispy fresh baby hairs.
Don’t wait around, let me document that beautiful moment in their lives!
When to book
It's best to book with me just after your 20 week scan so that I can provisionally pencil in your due date. Once baby is born the most suitable time for your session is when they’re between 5 and 14 days old. This is when they're at their sleepiest and are not as alert, making this the perfect opportunity to capture peaceful and sleepy poses.
If for whatever reason you are unable to make the session during that time then don’t worry at all. I can still photograph
newborn babies up to 21 days old.
What to expect from your session
My newborn sessions usually last between 2-4 hours. This enables plenty of time for various props, backgrounds and
outfits changes. This is the perfect time to sit back and relax!
My newborn sessions will take place at your home. This makes it easier for mum, dad & baby.
The sessions are baby led so if they are more awake and alert then I will take photographs of them awake but will also try all my tricks to get them back to sleep.
Please drop me an email at or through the contact page of my website to ask me any questions you may have or to book your session.
